Ashara, is a direct descendant of the bloodline of Asha, the founder of the Dustrunner religious tradition and civilization.

Ashara’s parents were killed when she was 12 by a bombing raid carried out on her hometown by a corpo mercenary army. She was devastated by the loss of her parents and has sworn to bring the corporations responsible to justice and protect her people’s sacred lands.

Ashara was baptized into the order of the Aekani shortly after losing her parents and became the pupil of Nalini, the High Priestess of The Order of The Aekani, who became like a mother figure to her.

After Nalini’s death, Ashara was voted unanimously as the Great Mother and new leader of the Dustrunner government. She is a fiery and powerful woman who is loved by her people and seen as a symbol of strength and hope in their fight against the corpo forces trying to annex their land.

Ashara has sworn to reclaim the lands and resources taken from her people by the corporations and has begun intensifying the training of the Dustrunner military in order to fulfill that promise.

She is a fair and thoughtful leader, as well as a cunning and ruthless general.
